The Georgetown University Summer Institute in Health Professions (“Club Med”) is an all-inclusive, on-campus summer program designed to provide currently matriculated Georgetown undergraduate students with an elite-level academic experience while offering a packaged price.
Club Med students will have the opportunity to pursue one of the Core Pre-Health sequences (Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Physics) alongside a 2-credit Health Professions Seminar.
Take advantage of the summer semester, which provides additional opportunities for intensive discernment, experiential learning, career exploration, and cohort building that the academic year does not ordinarily allow.
Schedule
10-week program running Jun 3–Aug 9, 2024
Ideal for
Current Georgetown University undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in medicine or healthcare.
Price
The total cost for the Summer Institute is $24,995, including tuition for 12 credits along with housing and a 14-weekly meal plan for 10 weeks. This represents nearly a $6,000 discount on regular tuition for 12 credits. Financial aid is available for eligible students.
Upon Completing the Program
At the end of the 10-week Club Med Institute, students will gain 12 credits and a deep understanding of what it means to be a healthcare professional. Students will be better prepared to apply for medical school (or other health professions programs).
