    Summer Institutes

The Georgetown University Summer Institutes offer a holistic approach to academic exploration in an all-inclusive, residential experience during the Summer semester. The Summer Institutes are designed to provide Georgetown undergraduate students with an introduction to various careers through academic and experiential learning explorations.

Each Summer Institute will offer an enhanced academic experience for students seeking to dive deeper into disciplines that align with their interests. Students will engage in coursework, research, and experiential learning opportunities throughout the duration of the program.

The Institutes are intensive, in-person, 5-week and 10-week programs that allow Georgetown students the opportunity to earn 6 or 12 credit hours through a concentrated curriculum. The price is offered in an all-inclusive or à la carte structure that includes on-campus housing and a standard 14-weekly meal plan throughout the duration of the 5-week or 10-week residential program. Financial aid is available for eligible students.
