The Georgetown University Summer Institute in Gender, Identity, & Global Policymaking is an all-inclusive, on-campus summer program designed to provide currently matriculated Georgetown undergraduate students with an elite-level academic experience while offering a packaged price.
This Institute introduces students to the study of gender and identity in global policymaking. If you are an undergraduate student looking for an immersive experience and exploration of how gender, LGBTQIA+, and identity shape global affairs, this Summer Institute is designed for you. This Summer Institute will give you insights and skills for a career in global policy-making including the foreign service, non-governmental organizations, and think tanks.

Price
The total cost for the Summer Institute is $24,995, including tuition for 12 credits along with housing and a 14-weekly meal plan for 10 weeks. This represents nearly a $6,000 discount on regular tuition for 12 credits. Financial aid is available for eligible students.
Upon Completing the Program
At the end of the 10-week Georgetown Summer Institute in Gender, Identity, & Global Policymaking, students will gain 12 credits, a certificate of completion, and a firsthand understanding of what it means to apply a gender lens to global affairs and policymaking. Students will be well-equipped to pursue a career in global policymaking including in different US government departments and agencies, non-governmental organizations, and think tanks.
