The Georgetown McDonough Ignite Summer Institute is an all-inclusive, on-campus summer program designed to provide currently matriculated Georgetown undergraduate students outside of the business school with a unique academic experience.
The Institute will provide an introduction to business foundational topics and engage you in the study of contemporary business theory with an in-depth complement of practical applications.
By partnering with leading firms and organizations, you will gain foundational knowledge and apply your learning in real-world contexts.

Ideal for
Current Georgetown University undergraduate students who aren’t in the McDonough School of Business and are interested in pursuing a career in business or business-related fields and exploring MSB’s curricula.
Price
The total cost for the 10-week Summer Institute, including tuition for 12 credits along with housing and a 14-meal weekly plan, will be announced soon. There is also a tuition-only option. Financial aid is available for eligible students.
Upon Completing the Program
At the end of the 10-week Georgetown McDonough Ignite Summer Institute, students will earn 12 credits and gain both academic knowledge and hands-on experience that will prepare them for future success in business. This immersive experience equips participants with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the business world while helping them determine if a future in business leadership or advanced studies is the right path for them.
